Hi and welcome to my blog.

I’m Deborah, proud mummy of Angelo and his 3 older brothers Eli (5), Ravelle (21), and Kai (23).

I decided to start this blog after being inspired by my youngest son Angelo, who has Down Syndrome.

Angelo has just started preschool which has given me a few spare hours most days and so instead of looking for a typical job, I have decided to fill my spare time doing something that I love and am passionate about, which is advocating for my son, showing the world how amazing and capable he is and letting everyone know just how proud I am of him.

It is my hope for him and his future that he will be seen as the wonderful little human that he is and not just a diagnosis, this blog is my voice.

I want to spread the message that having Down Syndrome is ok, yes its scary at times, especially in the beginning but most of that worry is short lived due to ignorance and lack of education…I was uneducated and ignorant not too long ago and so I can speak from the heart as a parent.

I am not a trained writer, my spelling and grammar are shocking at times but I am devoted and completely in love with the subject, my son which is why what I write here means so much to me. I hope that it shows and that you enjoy reading my articles.
